On Wednesday December 23, 2015, Tara Johnson, @TJWagginherTail, was back for another round of “TJ Tells All” on Periscope. This week, since it’s the Eve of Christmas Eve, the discussion was all about GIFTS under $20 that are super functional and fun!

Watch a replay of the episode here and read on for a detailed summary of every product Tara reviewed on #TJtellsAll.

Selfie Stick

selfiestickTo start things off, Tara reviewed the handy “selfie-stick,” since most of us will probably be trying to cram as many people as possible into those holiday selfies. A great gift and product to gift for yourself is the Thumbs Up Click Stick on Amazon. The ‘Click Stick’ extends almost 3 feet, is light-weight and very portable. You can find the Click Stick for as low as $19.95 from some Amazon sellers and it is the perfect solution for iPhones – but not as well for Android devices – so if you have an Android device, you might want to find another selfie stick option like the Selfie Shoot ‘n Share Extendable Monopod.

MANATEA Tea Infuser

manatea

For any tea lovers out there, especially loose-leaf tea lovers, the Fred and Friends MANATEA Tea Infuser is an adorable and useful gift. Fred’s ManaTea infuser is molded from virgin, food-safe silicone and is shaped like a cute little manatee that hangs off the edge of your cup. At only  0.17 lbs the MANATEA is completely portable and perfect to use home or on-the-go because it’s so durable. After trying it out, Tara found that since the holes are larger than other tea infusers, some of the leaves dispersed into the tea. She also noted that the tea-leaf holding compartment doesn’t hold as much tea as other infusers she has tried in the past – so the tea might be a bit weaker than you’re used to. In all, the cuteness factor totally makes up for any downsides of this product. Tara found the MANATEA for $14 at Urban Outfitters or you could buy it online for $10 at the Fred and Friends site.

Disposable Flasks

Next, Tara reviewed a product that is not only useful for a night out on the town, it can also make a great portable, disposable beverage container. The Original Shark Skinzz Disposable Flasks is great for anyone looking to have their favorite libation anytime anywhere. A disposable flask lets you be discreet and undetected but they are also great for non-alcoholic beverages too! Ever been out for a walk or run and you need to carry around a plastic water bottle, this solves that problem! These disposable flasks are reusable, foldable, freezable and hold up to 8 fl.oz of liquid. Tara found Shark Skinzz Flasks at Urban Outfitters for only $6. You can also find them online at Shark Skinzz website for $10.95.

 Standing Head Massager

headmassagerThe final gift Tara reviewed was only $6 and is a total life-changer! The Head Massager Standing Tree Designed By Elisabeth Krenkler is both an incredible head-massaging experience and decorative piece in one! Unwind and relieve excess stress. These head massagers relieve tension and increase blood circulation by softly massaging acupressure points and stimulating sensitive nerves in your scalp. It can even help stimulate hair growth and calm stress.

Tara will be back next Wednesday, December 30th for another #TJtellsAll. Got an idea for a product you’d like Tara to try out and review on #TJtellsAll? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter!
